All of my ghosts are real, all of my ghosts are home - a lantern to light the path of your return.
We went to see Japanese Breakfast at Brooklyn Paramount and Jasmine from our design team sketched Michelle (borrowing our creative director, Leigh’s, eyeglasses) as she swung a lantern across the stage. It became the second piece we designed for this collection. We set the lantern with a moonstone for that luminous, shining in the fog feeling, for you to slip on a chain, or a hoop.
Presenting a new collection designed with Japanese Breakfast — a meditation on time, romance and the sea. Pearl tears, intricate shells and diaphanous aquamarine to wear now and always, inspired by Michelle Zauner’s new album and her beloved memoir, Crying in H Mart.
Comes with a collaborative Catbird x Japanese Breakfast postcard and sticker.
In celebration of our collection, and in the spirit of Michelle’s work where culture and identity are honored with care, The Catbird Giving Fund is proud to donate $10,000 to Immigrant Defense Network. Their work defends immigrant rights, keeps families together, and advances systemic change.
