What have you been working on in the studio this week?

Currently, I’ve been working on a lot of the classic stacking rings- TwistedsThreadbares, and full sized Mignons.

What is your favorite piece to make in the studio?

I love making the new Swan Egg Necklace. The assembly is a little different then other pieces that we make, and it’s always nice to switch things up a bit.

Who / What is your biggest inspiration right now?

This city! New York is this amazing collection of passionate misfits. Sometimes I’ll be walking around Brooklyn, and just find myself tearing up from the endless amount of inspiration and beauty surrounding me. Then a rat will jump out of a trash can and I’m just straight up crying.

When I'm not in the studio, you can find me..

Out with friends eating, drinking and being merry.

What is your favorite Brooklyn hang out?

I have so many! One of my favorites is definitely The Great Georgiana on Vanderbilt and Dekalb. They have an awesome happy hour, and the staff is the best!

If you wrote a book about yourself, what would you name it?

I Want To Be Famous - I  actually already wrote the book in 7th grade.

Do you have any strange phobias?

I can’t eat eggs without bacon or some sort of meat. Idk if that’s a phobia, but it’s definitely strange. Sorry vegetarians!

What are you going to do when you retire?

Im going to open a LGBTQ retirement home called The End Of The Rainbow.

If you could live anywhere besides NY, where would you live?

Probably back to New Orleans, because  that’s where The End Of The Rainbow will be.

The most meaningful piece of jewelry I own is..

An antique ring that my mother bought me as a high school graduation gift. The center stone is a yellow sapphire and the diamonds around it are all mine cut which are my favorite.

What is your your favorite Catbird piece?

My favorite piece hasn’t been released yet. I can’t wait to see how well it does! :) I also looooooove the Baby Pearl Hoops. They’re beautiful on everyone and great to mix-and-match with other catbird styles.
