The most meaningful piece of jewelry I own is
my grandmother's medal that she won for drawing in 1920. I wear it every day. It has her name, Pearl Levy, inscribed on the back.
A good salad should always have
I find inspiration for my work and life in
travel, glimpses into the way other people live, and asking a million and one questions.
My culinary idol is
Jennifer Paterson and Clarissa Dickson Wright from the show, Two Fat Ladies.
The most challenging part of my job is
knowing when to stop working, put down the camera, and just enjoy the moment, the meal or the company.
The most exciting part of my job is
the access I have to fascinating people, whether they work in food or art.
My happy place is
in my garden early in the morning, weeding.
