Production Jeweler Trainer

Catbird is looking for an experienced Production Jeweler Trainer to help our jewelers develop their skills and knowledge. Your goal as the Production Jeweler Trainer is to conduct training sessions, work with our staff of 20+ jewelers to meet and exceed quality and speed standards, and improve the skills of all personnel.

The ideal candidate should be a great communicator with the ability to effectively describe and demonstrate complicated and nuanced techniques to jewelers at different skill levels. You must be highly organized, proficient in time management, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Assistant Manager of Training and Studio Operations Team to identify company training needs.
  • Schedule appropriate training sessions.
  • Lead group training and individual training sessions.
  • Plan and implement an effective training curriculum.
  • Document training summaries
  • Create training tools like videos, process and info sheets.
  • Train and guide new employees, including the adoption of PPE.
  • Develop monitoring systems to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities according to training and established standards.
  • Design and conduct specific trainings on individual products and broader skills

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Impressive communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A minimum of 3 year experience in jewelry production.
  • A minimum of 2 year experience teaching.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel) - including being comfortable working with data and manipulating it to draw actionable conclusions

E-Commerce Customer Service Associate

We are currently looking for a full-time Customer Service Associate in our E-commerce Department. This is a junior position on our team with plenty of room to grow! Starting hours are Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 6pm. Hours will change during our holiday season.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional and personalized service to customers via email, phone, social media channels, and live chat
  • Navigate order management systems to process orders and support customer relationships
  • Provide styling advice to customers with a strong knowledge of Catbird products
  • Brainstorm ways to create out-of-this-world customer experiences with your manager and team members
  • Help cultivate a warm and inviting culture in order to assist our customers

Catbird Communications Intern

We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic & ambitious fall intern to work one-on-one with our PR & Marketing team. They will assist with daily Marketing & PR tasks.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Coordinating  sample tracking and loans
  • Manage sample inventory & organization
  • Maintain press clippings
  • Assist with tracking and measuring effectiveness of all PR and social media initiatives for monthly reporting
  • Research for partnerships & new media program
  • Assist on maintenance and development of partnerships program
  • Assist in planning our ongoing events calendar

Customer Experience Manager

Catbird is looking for an experienced Customer Experience Manager to lead our in-house team! At Catbird we want every customer to feel comfortable and thrilled shopping with us. We pride ourselves on providing that experience. Our CX Manager is at the forefront of ensuring our customers get the same level of service no matter how they connect with us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure our customers receive the best and most appropriate service we can offer - to help us strive to be the best in our category with service, quality and work environment
  • Establish the strategic direction and vision for the Catbird Customer Experience team’s growth and development
  • Lead the team actively, providing guidance to direct reports during weekly 1:1 conversation; in-the-moment coaching when it makes sense; onboarding and training for new team members
  • Drive people, process, and technology improvement initiatives to optimize the customer experience from end-to-end, both for customers and our team
  • Obsess over customer feedback and relentlessly strive for CX improvements, including smooth execution of customer-facing communication and programming and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms
  • Responsible for our Zendesk Knowledge base and other customer support tools
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Third Party vendors to help provide consistent service level with customers
  • Support Catbird leadership and Catbird Head of Operations with larger projects focused on growth strategy and operational implementation
  • Oversight of customer programs, including working with other departments and our retail team

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years in Customer Service and at least 2 years managing a team
  • A great people manager with a track record of helping people thrive and experience hiring and training a customer service team
  • Experience defining and tracking support metrics and implementing programs to improve operational performance
  • Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving experience
  • Have a strong track record for writing, editing, and developing strong tone of voice for brands
  • A quick-thinking, creative, hands-on, organized problem-solver
  • Maintains a positive attitude with an all-hands-on-deck team mentality
  • Detail-oriented in an awesome (possibly scary) way
