Diamonds surround a luminous sapphire, chosen by you. A special parcel of eight Moyo sapphires in saturated, radiant colors waiting to be turned into a bespoke Night at the Ballet Ring - a signature Catbird setting - just for you. We picked each sapphire for its perfect shade; there is only one of each available. Your stone will be hand-set by an expert Catbird jeweler in our Brooklyn studio.
Moyo Gems is a responsible miner-to-market gemstone collaboration that works with women artisanal miners in Tanzania and Kenya. These sapphires are from Tanzania’s Umba Valley and are known for their intense colors. Moyo means "heart" in Swahili. Our partners at Anza Gems reinvest a percentage of every Moyo sapphire into education initiatives, community needs, and market days that support direct miner-to-market relationships.
