What We Love
When we used to visit Vito, we would bring him flowers, cheesecake, some marzipan, and sit at the table together enjoying them. One time he said, “I don't have any vases, go use the empty salsa jar in the kitchen,” and so we filled the empty, rinsed salsa jar with flowers and teased him gently, for Vito's home was awash in vases. They all but burst forth from his antique armoires. Oh Vito. And so here is a flower for you, from Vito.
A charm made with solid 14k gold and flowers we found in Italy the first winter we knew Vito - and have been waiting to use ever since.
