A one of a kind necklace, designed by Catbird using antique gemstones from the collection of Vito Giallo — artist, antiques dealer, and quintessential New Yorker.
Helen F. was a painter renowned for her use of color — along with her husband Robert, she visited the shop of Mrs. Randolph, Vito's mentor in the world of antiques, in pursuit of art nouveau lamps.
Made in our Brooklyn studio using 100% recycled 14k gold and antique citrines, peridots, amethysts, opals, tourmalines and garnets.
In honor of our collaboration with Vito, the Catbird Giving Fund is proud to have made a donation of $40,000 to SAGE, a national advocacy and services organization in their mission to look out for LGBTQ+ elders.
Please note, these gems contain natural inclusions and imperfections which are consistent with their age and provenance. Each one was chosen by the Catbird team for their heritage and beauty.
