What We Love
A vertically set marquise diamond in a ring that is wholly Kataoka in feeling, which means celestial, considered, and of the highest craftsmanship. The first marquise diamond came to be when Louis XV asked his jewelers to cut a stone in the shape of the lips of his lover, Marquise de Pompadour. Made in the tiny, magical Tokyo workshop of master jeweler Yoshinobu Kataoka.
