Catbird is proud to debut the work of Prounis, a new jeweler with an old soul. Her modern jewels are inspired by antiquity; each piece is hand wrought from rich, luxurious 22k gold.
The Moonstone Roz Ring is luminous and weighty, a true instant heirloom. The wearer of this ring carries a symbol of classic beauty.
Prounis jewels are made with a custom shade of the ancient 22-karat alloy; the malleability of 22-karat allows the jewels to shape to the wearer over time. 22-karat gold has a vibrant yellow hue, and each piece begins with a matte finish. The wearer’s skin oils polish the metal over time, creating a lustrous shine.

Designer
Each piece is hand-wrought in a custom shade of 22 karat gold. The collection incorporates precious and semi-precious gems, produced using ancient goldsmithing techniques. Jean refers to the aesthetic of Prounis Jewelry as “Meso-Greco-Aleppo”, calling out her love of antiquities, and her desire to carry on the family lineage of creating a treasured memory and object.
