If you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase, you can send it back to us for a refund or credit within 10 days of receipt. Please print our return form, fill it out and include it in your package, as well as your original receipt. Please allow 4-7 days for us to process your return.
If you need to exchange for another size, please place a new order on line and return your other items for a refund. If the items being returned were a gift, please fill out the return form for an on-line credit.
Sale items, special orders, custom jewelry, engraved items, fragrances, beauty products and comestibles are final sale and cannot be returned. All returned merchandise must be in its original condition. Most Catbird rings (not including wedding bands or eternity bands) are able to be returned. Please email us before ordering if you are unsure.
Customer is responsible for all shipping costs unless the item is damaged or we made a mistake.
We recommend shipping all items through UPS or FedEx. We are not responsible for lost packages and we cannot issue a refund if your package is lost or damaged. We will not accept CODs. Please insure the package for the full amount of the merchandise you are sending back to us. If you choose to ship via US Postal Service, do not require a signature - this will result in the package being returned to shipper. We are not responsible for missing packages.
We have the right to deny credit if the merchandise returned does not meet our return policy requirements. Please send the merchandise, a copy of your packing slip and completed return form to:
If you need to cancel an order you must email us within 4 hours of when you place your order. Many pieces are custom made and once production begins on them they cannot be cancelled. We also try to ship very quickly. :)
CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE AN ONLINE ORDER AT THE STORE?
Sure! Please see these three scenarios:
1. If you want a refund back to your original form of payment and would like to bring your return to the store: No problem! Web order returns at the store must be accommodated with the original order confirmation as well as our return form. Please allow 4-7 days for your return to reach our web department, for us to process your return and issue a refund back to your original form of payment. After that, your bank can take up to 2-3 days.
2. If you are returning a gift and would like to bring your return to the store: No problem! Web order returns can be brought to the store for a physical Gift Card which can be used on line or in store. Store will not authorize cash refunds.
3. If you want to exchange your web order for another item and would like to bring your return to the store: No problem! Please bring your original order confirmation with you or you can pull it up on your phone.
Please follow the instructions above to return your ring using the return form and place a new order on line for whatever you need. This is the only way we can accomodate exchanges.
HOW ABOUT REPAIRS OR RING RE-SIZING?
Please contact us about repairs or high-value rings that need to be resized. You can also call us at 718-599-2340. (Most Catbird rings can simply be returned for a refund and the size you need can be purchased anew. They do not get re-sized.) We can only accept repairs or resizing on jewelry bought from Catbird.
