FREE SHIPPING OFFER: Free shipping on online orders over $150 in the contiguous (lower 48) US only. Cannot be applied to previous purchases or the purchase of gift cards and cannot be redeemed for cash. Terms of offer are subject to change.
Available shipping methods within the continental US:
Standard - $11 (2-7 business days in transit. Fastest option within the tri-state area.)
Expedited - $25 (2 business days in transit.)
Pick up in store - no charge (Please wait until we notify you that your item is ready before coming to pick it up.)
Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico - $28 (2 - 3 business days in transit.)
Signature upon delivery required for orders over $500.
Orders are shipped Mon-Fri excluding holidays. Please note that occasionally in-stock items may be temporarily out-of-stock or backordered. We will make every effort to communicate any shipping delay within 24 hours of your order. If we are having a piece custom made for you, please see your order notification for your wait time. If you need something by a certain date, please contact us and we will do our absolute best to make it so!
Our packages are shipped with Catbird branding on the exterior. If you're planning a surprise - let us know in Special Instructions at Checkout and we will do our best to ship as incognito as possible!
SAME DAY DELIVERY
We offer Same Day Delivery for $30 in many areas of Brooklyn and Manhattan (for these zip codes) using wynd NOW. Orders are delivered within three hours of your order time.
Same Day Delivery is available between 10am and 4pm EST Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. Orders placed after 4pm will be delivered between 10am and 1pm the following business day.
If you are not available upon order delivery, your order will be returned to the Catbird studio and our customer service team will contact you via email. Your Same Day Delivery fee is nonrefundable and will not be applied to any additional delivery services. (We do offer pick up at our Williamsburg store at no charge.)

International shipments are shipped via wynd Worldwide (powered by UPS Worldwide) who provide customs clearance and door-to-door delivery service within 4-7 business days for $45 for orders under $5000. For shipments to Australia and New Zealand an additional $20 fee is incured. Also note - additional fees apply for orders over $5000.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING FOUR POINTS CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING YOUR INTERNATIONAL ORDER:
Duties and taxes are not included in the total at checkout. They are determined by the customs agency within the destination country. Although charges are not always incurred, assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order and the tax-free threshold, if it exists, for goods imported into the destination country. Payment of any duties and import taxes is the responsibility of the recipient, and these fees are collected at the time of delivery.
In-stock items will take 4-7 days from the time of order. Some items are custom made and require a longer wait time - please check the item's page or email us.
All orders shipped internationally are final sale.
- Gift wrapping is not available for international orders due to customs regulations. It is very likely that the parcel would be opened by customs, thus negating any gift wrapping services provided. This will allow your order to be delivered as quickly, safely and efficiently as possible.
IN STORE PICKUP
Orders not picked up within 60 days will be refunded and returned to stock. This applies to in-stock items only — it does not apply to any custom orders. Please contact us if you need more time.
If your package gets lost in transit we will do everything we possibly can to assist you. We cannot be held responsible for packages once proof of delivery is generated. We ask our carrier to require a signature for all items over $500. If you would like to either waive this requirement, or if you would like to ask for a signature for less than $500, please include this information under Special Instructions at checkout. (Since we cannot be responsible for delivered packages that have been lost or stolen, we highly recommend selecting a delivery address that you trust.)
