Strawberry Chipotle and Fig Jam
Sweet, spicy, and smoky. Spoon it over ice cream or yogurt, spread on toast. Made without pectin, thickeners, stabilizers, or extra sugar so the texture is less viscous than most jams. Refrigeration will make it thicker, and to use in baking heat with a bit of corn starch (and tell us what you made!).

Trade St. Jam Co. is a chef, woman and Black owned business that started in a tiny apartment in North Carolina on Trade Street, and is now based in Brooklyn. Made by hand in small batches, with ingredients sourced from local farms and vendors, Trade St. adds minimal sugar, skips the pectin and preservatives, cooking up a less thick but cleaner tasting jam than the usual. Fruits forward!
