What We Love
A Vito Inspired design - designed by Catbird as an homage to Vito and his magical trunk of gems. A necklace, designed by Catbird, inspired by the world of Vito Giallo —artist, antiques dealer, and quintessential New Yorker.
Made in our Brooklyn studio with 100% recycled 14k gold and pink sapphires.
Vito wrote in his memoir: “I'm still animated by the antique pieces on my floors and tables and shelves that will survive me, the pieces that journeyed with me across the river — and perhaps more so by the stories of the people who were drawn into my life by the charms of these fine objects.” The Charming Bowtie Necklace is an homage to connection, and the ties that bind.
In honor of our collaboration with Vito, the Catbird Giving Fund is proud to have made a donation of $40,000 to SAGE, a national advocacy and services organization in their mission to look out for LGBTQ+ elders.

In 1969, Vito came into possession of a trunk full of gems, and other than selling a few to Andy, he has saved them since then. 53 years later, we are so proud to present Catbird x Vito's Gems, a collection of limited edition and one-of-a-kind jewels inspired by Vito’s New York.
